Saturday, August 8 is the Deadline for Ballots to be Mailed for the Primary Election

 

Indian River County, FL – The deadline for Indian River County residents to request a ballot to be mailed for the 2020 Primary Election is Saturday, August 8 at 5 p.m. Vote-by-mail ballots can be requested online at VoteIndianRiver.com for the upcoming Primary Election or all elections through 2022.

More than 37,000 mail ballots have been delivered to voters with requests on file and 13,341 of those have already been voted and returned. Unofficial voter turnout can be viewed online at VoteIndianRiver.com.

Voted mail ballots must be received by the Supervisor of Elections office by 7 p.m. Election Day, August 18, and can be returned by mail or in person. Secure mail ballot drop boxes are located at each Early Voting site and are available during voting hours. A 24/7 drop box is located at the Indian River County Supervisor of Elections office. Voters are reminded to sign the back of their mail ballot certificate envelope to ensure their vote is counted.
