National Voter Registration Day

Indian River County, FL – On Tuesday, September 20, 2022, Indian River County Supervisor of Elections Leslie Swan will join with thousands of other election officials across the country to take part in the 10th anniversary celebration of National Voter Registration Day, a nonpartisan civic holiday that aims to help all eligible voters participate in our democracy. The national day of action will involve coordinated field, technology, and media efforts to register voters and raise awareness of state-specific registration policies, deadlines, and voting information.

The Indian River County Supervisor of Elections will be registering voters at Sebastian River High School, Vero Beach High School and Indian River Charter High School during their lunch periods. Students will need either their last four digits of their social security number or their driver’s license number in order to register.

Residents of Indian River County who want to register can also register to vote online at VoteIndianRiver.gov under the “I Want To…” tab.
