Florida Supervisors of Elections Collaborate with Secretary of State on #TrustedInfo2022 Education Campaign
Indian River County, FL – In preparation for the 2022 midterm elections, Indian River County Supervisor of Elections Leslie Swan and the Florida Supervisors of Elections are proud to partner with Florida Secretary of State Laurel M. Lee in support of the #TrustedInfo2022 initiative.
The voter education effort led by the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) aims to promote state and local elections officials as the trusted sources for election information.
“We cannot allow the spread of misinformation to undermine voter’s confidence in our elections process,” Supervisor of Elections Leslie Swan said. “Our elections are conducted with integrity and full transparency and we are committed to providing our voters with accurate election information.”
Local Supervisor of Election’s offices and the Florida Department of State are verified sources for election information in the 2022 election cycle and beyond. The Indian River County Supervisor of Elections office will use the #TrustedInfo2022 hashtag to flag official election information on social media and other sites.
