News Release

Post-Election Audit

Indian River County, FL – The Indian River County Supervisor of Elections office will conduct the post-election audit Monday, November 28, 2022 at noon for the November 8, 2022 General Election. The audit will take place at the Supervisor of Elections office 4375 43rd Ave., Vero Beach, FL 32967.

The purpose of the audit is to ensure that the voting equipment used in the election accurately counted the votes.

Per Florida Statute 101.591, an automated audit shall consist of a public automated tally of the votes cast across every race that appears on the ballot. The tally sheet shall include Election Day, vote-by-mail, early voting, provisional, and overseas ballots in at least 20 percent of the precincts chosen at random by the county canvassing board.
