2026 Town of Orchid Special Election
Voting Registration Deadline: Only registered voters who reside within the Town of Orchid, are assigned to Precinct 30, and are registered on or before January 26th are eligible to vote in this election.
Early Voting: Voters may choose to vote by mail by requesting a ballot online at VoteIndianRiver.gov or by calling the Supervisor of Elections office at (772) 226-4700.
Mail Ballot Request Deadline: February 12th by 5:00 pm
Election Day: February 24th, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, at the Indian River Shores Community Center located at 6001 Highway A1A

Important: Florida is a closed primary election state. Only voters who are registered members of political parties may vote for respective party candidates or nominees for an office in a Primary Election. All registered voters, regardless of party affiliation, may vote on issues and nonpartisan races during a Primary Election. Voters can change their party affiliation by submitting an updated Voter Registration Application at any time, but the change must be made 29 days before a Primary Election to be effective for that election. At a General Election, all registered voters receive the same ballot and may vote for any candidate or question on the ballot.
